Choose your computer
Windows or Mac. One connected workspace.
SMTasker runs actions through an Android device. The desktop client keeps that device connected to your browser dashboard.
Windows client
For Windows 10, Windows 11, or Windows Server 2016 and newer. Sign in and use DOWNLOAD to get the .exe installer.
- Run the installer and follow its setup checks.
- Connect your Android phone by USB, or use a supported Android emulator on Windows.
- Keep the client running in the system tray while automations run.
macOS client
Sign in and use DOWNLOAD to get the .dmg file for your Mac. Open it and move SMTasker into Applications.
- Launch the app and pair this Mac with your dashboard using CONNECT CLIENT.
- Connect your Android phone and check that it appears in the client.
- Leave the app open, even if minimized, while automations run.
You also need an Android device signed in to the social apps you plan to use. Check the Knowledge Base for pairing and troubleshooting steps.
Why the client matters
Your browser plans the work. Your Android device carries it out.
In the dashboard you choose accounts, supported actions, sources, schedules, and limits. The local client connects that workspace to your Android phone or supported emulator, so the actions run on the device.
Keep the computer on, the client running, and the device connected while your automations run. If the client closes or the computer shuts down, work pauses until the connection is restored.
Explore what you can automateOnce you’re connected
Go from installation to a real routine.
Choose a platform, add an account, and decide what you want to automate. SMTasker supports publishing and engagement tools across Instagram, TikTok, Threads, Reddit, Snapchat, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X (Twitter).
For X, the current tools are like, follow, comment, unfollow, and repost. Available tools and audience sources vary across the other platforms. Set active days and limits, then review activity in your dashboard.

Where is the direct download link?
The installer is provided inside your SMTasker account. Log in to the dashboard and click DOWNLOAD at the bottom of the sidebar. It supplies the right installer for your computer.
Can I download it before creating an account?
No. First create an SMTasker account and sign in. Then use DOWNLOAD in your dashboard to get the installer. The five-day trial lets you test the supported platforms and automation tools on your trial device.
Do I need both a computer and an Android device?
Yes. The Windows or Mac client links the web dashboard to a connected Android phone. A supported Android emulator is also an option on Windows.
What happens if I close the client?
Automations pause when the client closes, your computer shuts down, or the device disconnects. Reopen the client and reconnect the device to continue.
Do I need an AI API key to install the client?
No. You can install the client and configure supported automations manually. Connect your own OpenAI or Anthropic API key only if you want to use Skye AI Manager; that provider bills AI usage separately.
Ready to connect?
Your dashboard has the installer waiting.
Start a five-day trial or sign in to your account, then use DOWNLOAD in the sidebar.
