Before you build your X routine
What can SMTasker automate on X (Twitter) right now?
The current X toolset contains Like, Follow, Comment, Unfollow and Repost. You can organize those actions with the account, device, available inputs, operating periods, limits and activity review in SMTasker.
Does Comment mean replies to X posts?
Yes. Comment is the tool name in SMTasker; on X it publishes replies to posts. The reply workflow is distinct from a private inbox or a service that automatically answers every incoming mention.
Is Repost the same as creating a new X post?
Repost shares an existing post through the selected account. Original-post publishing and quote-post composition are not part of the five X tools listed on this page.
Can I run the X tools from Windows or macOS?
Yes. The local client supports Windows and macOS. Phone-based actions need a connected Android device, a ready X session and the local client running.
Do I have to use Skye or MCP?
You can configure SMTasker yourself. Skye and MCP provide additional ways to inspect and manage supported settings. Skye needs your provider API key; MCP uses a SMTasker key and the permissions you grant to your external assistant.
Will more X tools fit into this setup later?
The five tools listed here are available now. When additional X actions become available, they can have their own configurations and guides alongside the current workflows. You do not need to enable every tool for an account.
