One clear destination. A code you can keep.

Social Media QR Code Generator

Create a labeled set of static QR codes for profiles, videos, conversations or your own landing pages. Review the exact destination, export clean artwork and keep a complete handoff without connecting a social account.

Keep the link and the handoff together

Build a code for each destination

Start with one HTTPS link or prepare up to 12. Labels and notes stay outside the code; the QR contains only the encoded URL shown in your result.

Your destinations and settings

Paste a complete HTTPS address. Nothing is opened or fetched. The result shows the exact ASCII address encoded after browser URL parsing.

This is your review note, not verification by SMTasker. Recheck after changing the URL, artwork settings or print geometry.

Print width includes the quiet zone. These settings provide geometry, not a promise that a camera will read a finished print.

Before the material goes out

  • Compare the encoded address with the page you intend to share.
  • Keep the full light margin, without labels or decorations inside it.
  • Test a final-size print or the finished design on a phone.
  • A static code keeps its target. A changed page, domain or access requirement can still affect the visit.

Current code

Whole-set handoff

PNG and SVG contain only the QR artwork. The set ZIP includes all codes, a CSV inventory, editable JSON and a README. ZIP, PDF and copied set reviews require every link to be complete. Save set, beside Open set in the editor, keeps editable JSON even when destinations are unfinished. The PDF is a review, not a print-ready sheet.

Your destination inventory

Up to 12 links, 512 encoded URL bytes each and QR version 20. No API, account connection, private input upload or autosave. A normal Snapchat QR is not a Snapcode. Ordinary site analytics remain.

Uses self-hosted open-source encoding and decoding libraries. Library licenses and notices.

How your QR set is prepared

Choose the exact destination

Use a real profile, video, discussion or landing-page address. Browser URL parsing produces the ASCII target shown before download.

Supplied URL → encoded address

Preserve clear modules

The encoder chooses the matrix. Integer pixels, dark ink and a full quiet zone keep the artwork simple; a separate decoder checks its pixels.

Matrix + margin → image

Review the real placement

Keep the editable set and proof. Then test the finished material and the destination on a phone, at the size and distance you expect.

Digital check + manual review

Give each code a visitor question to answer

Begin with the moment someone reaches for their phone. At North Yard, a visitor standing by the entrance asks which buildings are open. Another wants to find the artists after leaving. A third wants to replay a demonstration they missed. Those questions suggest three different destinations: the owned route page, the collective’s existing social profile, and a specific published video. Write the question beside each proposed link before generating anything. A code earns its place by shortening a useful journey, not by filling an empty corner of a poster.

Decide whether the visitor needs a broad introduction or one exact piece of content. A profile is useful for ongoing discovery, but it can make someone hunt for today’s instructions. A video link can answer a particular question while being a poor substitute for the changing weekend timetable. Open each candidate yourself and compare its first screen with the promise on the printed material. The tool cannot tell you whether the selected page contains the right map, the current opening hours, or the intended artist. That is an editorial decision before encoding.

Keep the physical invitation equally specific. Use wording such as “Open the studio route” rather than a bare “Scan me” when the available space permits. Give the artist and video destinations different labels so visitors do not need to guess which square to try. A QR code only carries an address; following, subscribing, joining, and signing in remain separate actions at the destination. If one central information page would answer all three questions more clearly, use that page instead of multiplying codes. A smaller, understandable set is often easier to maintain and hand over.

Build a labeled inventory before making artwork

Create a project called “North Yard visitor links” and add the three planned items. Use labels such as “Entrance route map”, “Artist stories”, and “Recorded studio tour”. The project accepts one to twelve destinations, so you can prepare a coordinated set without treating every export as an unrelated job. Select the all-platform context for this mixed collection. Platform context does not change the encoder or apply a native social preset. A website map and a social profile go through the same static HTTPS QR preparation process.

Use the per-code notes for production context that would otherwise disappear into a chat thread. The map note might say “Entrance board; confirm revised courtyard access”. The tour note might identify the person responsible for checking the final video. Labels can contain up to eighty UTF-16 units; notes allow up to two hundred forty units across four lines. These are tool field limits, not platform requirements. Keep notes concise enough to be acted on, and retain longer approvals in your own project records. Neither labels nor notes are printed inside the exported QR artwork.

Add, duplicate, remove, and select items deliberately as the inventory develops. Duplicating a row is helpful when two placements need related notes, but it also duplicates the destination until you change it. Check the URL rather than trusting a new label. An unfinished row can remain in a structural draft, and it does not prevent exporting a different valid current code. Whole-set outputs require every item to be complete and valid. Before preparing the final package, remove abandoned alternatives so the inventory describes the actual handoff rather than every idea discussed during planning.

Approve the address that will actually be encoded

Paste an existing absolute HTTPS URL for each destination. Do not enter a handle, a search phrase, or a page you intend to create later. This generator does not search accounts or turn names into official profile links. It rejects credentials, whitespace, backslashes, control characters, localhost, and dotless hosts, among other invalid inputs. It does not contact a server to decide whether the address exists. A syntactically accepted link can still point to a removed page, the wrong account, a login screen, or content the intended visitor cannot access.

Review the displayed encoded target rather than assuming the pasted characters are always preserved byte for byte. Native URL serialization produces an explicit ASCII href. A Unicode hostname can become punycode, and characters in a path can become percent escapes. The raw input is retained in the project and review so you can compare both forms. Existing query values and fragments are not deliberately removed or rebuilt through a query editor. If a destination uses a fragment to select a relevant section, include that requirement in your manual review rather than treating it as decoration.

The raw URL budget is 2048 UTF-16 units, while the encoded target must fit 512 UTF-8 bytes and QR version twenty. An address can meet the first limit yet exceed the encoded budget after serialization. These are local operating limits, not restrictions imposed by Instagram, YouTube, or another platform. Resolve an oversized target with the page owner or choose a suitable existing destination. The tool will not silently shorten or truncate it. Do not remove unfamiliar query values merely to force acceptance; first establish whether they affect the page, its access, or the campaign you need to preserve.

Keep the matrix and its white border intact

Choose the shared artwork settings after the destinations are settled. The tool offers error correction M, Q, or H, a quiet zone of four, six, or eight modules, and a scale of four, eight, or twelve pixels per module. A module is one square unit in the matrix. Dark black, purple, or green ink is placed on an opaque white background. These choices keep the exported artwork controlled; they are not an invitation to add gradients, transparency, rounded modules, or an image across the center in a separate editor.

The PNG side length includes the matrix and the surrounding quiet zone. For an illustrative thirty-seven-module matrix with four clear modules on every edge, the full side contains forty-five modules. At scale eight, that becomes 360 pixels. If you later place the whole square at thirty-six millimeters, each module occupies 0.8 millimeters. Those figures explain geometry only. The print-width setting records your intended placement; it cannot force a layout application or printer to respect that size. Inspect the dimensions in the final document and preserve the complete white border.

Higher error correction adds redundancy and may require a denser matrix for the same URL. It does not grant permission to hide a stated percentage of the artwork beneath a logo. A denser symbol placed in the same physical square has smaller individual modules, which changes the production problem. Start with a clear, unmodified export and test the actual layout. Do not describe a larger PNG as a guaranteed scan improvement when it is still being printed at the same width. Raster resolution, physical size, available border space, and the final material are separate decisions that need to agree.

Make the handoff concrete

Prepare your first labeled QR set

Add the destinations your visitors actually need, review the serialized targets, and keep the artwork together with its inventory.

Separate local decoding from a real phone visit

Preparing a code includes an independent local pixel decode. The rendered image must decode to the exact ASCII HTTPS target that was encoded before that preparation succeeds. This is a useful check against a broken digital result. It is not a URL fetch, a security scan, a destination ownership check, or a camera test. The generator has no camera access and does not read an uploaded QR image. A successful digital decode says something precise about the prepared pixels, not everything about the journey a visitor will experience next.

For the route map, use a phone to open the exported code and read the actual entrance instructions. For the artist stories, check that the intended collective is visible and distinguish public access from the experience of an already signed-in staff member. For the studio tour, confirm the selected recording rather than merely seeing a familiar channel name. Native app opening depends on the visitor’s device and settings; it is not guaranteed. The same ordinary QR encoder can hold a Snapchat profile URL, but its output is not a native Snapcode or an automatic add-friend action.

Mark the phone check only after someone has performed it, and record useful context in your own approval notes. The checkbox is a manual declaration, not independent evidence collected by the tool. Changing a URL or shared artwork and print settings resets phone-test declarations because the reviewed artifact has changed. Label-only and note-only edits do not reset them. A declaration restored from a saved project is still something a user declared. For the printed entrance board, repeat the check on a physical proof at the intended placement, since a successful screen test cannot approve glare, trimming, mounting, or viewing conditions.

Choose exports by the person receiving them

Download the current PNG when a layout workflow needs raster artwork, or the current SVG when it can preserve vector geometry. Both contain only the QR artwork, including its quiet zone. They do not include the item label, explanatory invitation, brand mark, or notes. Add surrounding text in the actual design document without intruding into the white border. Tell the designer which inventory label the file belongs to. A technically valid square placed beside the wrong promise is still a bad visitor experience, and digital decoding cannot detect that mismatch.

Use the whole-set ZIP for a coordinated handoff. It contains numbered PNG and SVG files, the full CSV inventory, project JSON, and a README. The inventory keeps raw and encoded URLs, notes, declared phone states, settings, and geometry together. Ask the recipient to match each numbered asset to its row before placing it. At North Yard, the entrance volunteer needs the route map, while the programme designer needs all three destinations. Sending one clear package with that division of responsibility is more reliable than scattering unlabeled screenshots through several messages.

The PDF is a review and proof record, not a ready-to-print sheet of production codes. It carries readable codes and the accompanying destination details, manual states, geometry, and method, with a footer linked to this exact tool. Its visible pages are rasterized, and a complete UTF-8 JSON attachment preserves the underlying data. Use the separate artwork in the production layout. If a whole-set export is refused because an item is invalid or an output budget is exceeded, fix the problem rather than treating a partial package as complete. Keep the editable draft while you resolve the refusal.

Archive a revision that another person can reopen

Save the project JSON alongside the approved artwork and your final layout. This browser tool does not provide autosave or hosted project storage. A saved project contains the destination records, notes, settings, and manual declarations, not the printed board or an embedded collection of artwork files. Reopen it when you need to reconstruct the set, then review what has changed before exporting another revision. Invalid imported JSON should not replace the current project. Keep a useful saved draft before a major destination change so an old print run can still be traced to its original address.

Give the handoff a human revision name, such as “North Yard entrance release B”, in your own folder structure. Record who approved the route page and which physical proof was checked. The tool is not an approval database and does not create that history for you. If the recorded tour changes after printing, the static code still contains its original URL. Editing the project creates new artwork for future use; it cannot rewrite squares already on paper. Decide whether existing materials need replacing or whether the owner can maintain the originally linked page appropriately.

Static codes do not expire because this software imposes a timer, and there is no hosted redirect service here to renew. That does not promise the destination will remain available. A domain can lapse, a profile can change, and access can be restricted. Assign someone to review long-lived materials before reuse. For an annual event, inspect the full visitor journey again rather than changing only the printed year. A code that still decodes can be perfectly faithful to last year’s obsolete information. Retaining the original inventory makes that distinction visible and helps staff decide what actually needs replacing.

Finish the visitor handoff before planning account work

Review the three-code set as one person would encounter it. Can a visitor distinguish the map from the stories without opening both? Does the tour invitation explain what will play? Is there a readable alternative address or staff-assisted route for someone who cannot use the code? Those surrounding choices belong in the printed material, outside the QR artwork. Ask a colleague unfamiliar with the project to identify the next step from the final proof. Their hesitation can reveal a confusing label even when every encoded target and every local decode is correct.

If the team later wants attribution, choose that measurement path before the next print run. An owned landing page with prepared campaign parameters can support reporting on captured website visits when the website analytics records them. A direct social profile QR does not turn native profile views or follows into a scan report. Prepare tagged addresses separately with the UTM Campaign Link Builder when that is the appropriate task, then paste the finished HTTPS links here. The QR generator neither edits UTM fields nor collects campaign results, and the tools do not exchange projects automatically.

Keep recurring social account work as a separate decision after the visitor materials are ready. The collective might need supporting posts on Instagram, Facebook, or LinkedIn, where SMTasker supports publishing tasks. Its browser dashboard works with Android devices connected through a local Windows or macOS client. Evaluate a defined routine during the five-day trial, using the accounts and devices appropriate to your operation. The free QR set is not imported into that workspace, scheduled as print collateral, or automatically published. Finish with two clear deliverables: an approved visitor-link package and, only where useful, a separate plan for supported account activity.

Questions about static social QR codes

Can one project include social profiles and my own website?

Yes. A set can contain up to twelve supplied HTTPS destinations, including social content and owned pages. Platform is context only. Give each item a useful label and review its exact encoded target; the generator does not discover or verify the accounts behind those links.

Can I change a destination after the code is printed?

Not inside the printed static code. Updating the project creates new artwork with the new address. Content at an owned destination may be maintained separately, but this generator provides no redirect hosting or remote editing of existing codes.

Does a successful decode mean my poster will scan?

No. Local decoding checks the rendered pixels against the encoded URL. Print size, material, glare, cropping, camera behavior, and destination access still need manual review. Test a physical proof in its intended setting; no smallest size or universal scan result is certified.

Why can I export one code but not the whole set?

A valid current item can be exported while another row remains unfinished. Whole-set outputs validate every item, so a blank label, invalid URL, or other incomplete record must be resolved before the complete package is available.

Are the notes visible on the PNG or SVG?

No. Individual artwork contains the QR symbol and its quiet zone only. Labels, notes, addresses, geometry, and declared phone states belong to the inventory and review exports. Place any visitor-facing wording separately in your design.
